The week after school got out the kids and I went to my parents to spend a couple of days. Grandpa and Grandma had just gotten a playset through KSL so we helped put it together. My dad did most of the work, but we helped lift some boards, handed him tools, and dropped a few screws for him ;). After it was all done AJ and D climbed right up.
Grandma sat outside talking with them while they played. My dad and I watched out their big picture window in the kitchen and he commented how it reminded him of my Grandma (mom's mom) because one of her favorite things was be out with the kids watching them play.
My kids seem to think that a summer visit to Grandpa and Grandma's is not complete without a cookout. They love eating hotdogs and marshmallows but the best part is playing in the fire.
Couldn't keep D out of the mud. Sigh.

After all of that mud and marshmallows it is time for a BATH! Last messy picture before we head upstairs to the tub.
