This may be baby number 4, but it is the first time I have ever decorated a nursery and I had so much fun!! It was honestly my stress reliever the last couple of months before Darcy's arrival. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, and I have really been wanting to de-clutter so for the most part I was able to remake and re-use stuff I already had around. I loved the look of a lot of tree decals I was seeing on pinterest, but they are kind of pricey (most running about $100), so I contemplated just using white contact paper and doing a simple sillouette until I came across a wood grain contact paper at the dollar store. I bought one roll and just free-handed the trunk. Then I made tissue paper flowers and attached them. I' m quite happy with the way it turned out. The vase and frames I already had and just spray painted coral and cream. I already had the flowers in my stash and just had to arrange them. I covered cardboard orange boxes with coral contact paper to keep diapers, burp cloths, etc in on the shelves. The Winnie-the-Pooh bookends are mine from when I was younger and I made a changing pad out of a foam mattress cover that Derek and a friend had mostly pulled apart. I made the cover from leftover fabric my mom used in making my nursing cover.
