Legoland!

Back in January the kids had a few days off with the end of term break.  We decided to take advantage of the opportunity to escape the cold and go on an excursion to San Diego.  We drove all day Thursday and headed to Legoland first thing Friday morning.  The kids loved it!!  And we picked a great time to go.  Because it wasn't a big holiday break, not a lot of people were on vacation and because we were there on a Friday the locals were all in school too.  there were no long waits and hardly even lines.  The pictures mostly speak for themselves...

The Knight's Joust had all kinds of spinning action and while on it the car keys came out of J's pocket and fell into the pond below.  We had to wait until closing time for the workers to fish them out of the water so we could leave.

We got in line to wait for the 4D show, and had been given our "special" glasses. D was playing around with his and after wearing them for a minute he said to the rest of us, "Hey guys.  I'm a little famous now."
