I was telling my friend about our summer schedule and she wanted to see it. As you can see (and I told her) it's nothing fancy. Just half a piece of poster board and some markers. I actually got the idea from another friend last year. This is last years schedule. Of course we don't follow it exactly every day and I will be tweaking some things to make it work better for us this year. I am just a very visual person and as I've said before I need a lot of external helps to keep me on top of things and organized. If it's not in front of me I can't remember it so we post this in a very visual spot and it at least gives us a reference point to work from.
With the kids help we put together a list of things they wanted to do over the summer. We put this by the schedule and checked things off as we completed them. Obviously we weren't able to do everything on the list so some of that will go onto this year's list and some of it they no longer care about doing so we'll just leave it off.
