We decided to spend all of the kids' Spring Break down south. Our itinerary included Kolob Canyon, Zions National Park, The Grand Canyon, Four Corners, Hovenweep, and Arches National Park. We started out with Kolob Canyon.
Then we drove into Zions where we planned go further up a trail we started when we went in January. However, it was crazy busy and there was no where to park, so we drove a little ways and Jeff told me to let him know if I saw a place I wanted to stop and hike.
I saw a cool ravine, and mostly kidding said I wanted to go there. He took me at my word and pulled off at the side of the road. We climbed down in and it was awesome! We had it all to ourselves and it was beautiful. The sand was like powder and there were so many cool nooks and crannies. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of our trip.
