My parents have a time-share in Park City so we are able to go spend at least a couple of days with them every Summer. Aubrey loves it so much that she has dubbed Park City her "home away from home." We have a lot of fun swimming, going for walks, visiting the "game room," shopping, and just being together.
Darcy about to go swimming. Apparantly she's not sure it's where she wants to go.
Sweet morning smiles!!
Over Labor Day weekend we headed out to my parent's house to spend a couple of days. My brother James and his family were there too, so the cousins got to spend some time together.
Phaedra was so gentle and sweet with Darcy!
Lancey built this tower out of the Jenga blocks and was quite proud of it. It is pretty impressive balancing!
Aubrey and Phaedra love designing clothes from my mom's fabric stash and make good use of her dressing dummy. They also had fun playing with the kittens that love to roam outside and were determined to get the neighbors to adopt one particular cat that was running around. Phaedra and Derek also had a lot fun making a hideout in Grandpa and Grandma's backyard. They all had fun playing with Grandma's dollhouse too.
My parents don't have church until 1 PM so it was fun trying to find a way to keep the kids calm all morning (especially since it was fast Sunday). Here they are watching "You are Special." We left right after dinner and Derek kept begging to stay "just a little longer," and being able to play with the cousins "just one more day." Always too much fun to be had and not enough time!
