Aiden's Birthday!

He's another year older!  I'm pretty sure someone has hit the fast forward button at this point in our lives because my kids seem to growing up way too quickly, and this young man  is now taller than I am and wears the same size shoe as his dad and people mistake him for Jeff on the phone (his voice is so deep now).  He can cook (something he likes to do) and Aubrey says the only pizza she likes is Aiden's "made from scratch" crust and  sauce.  He can do laundry (doesn't like quite so much, but is one of his favorite chores because he gets to watch tv while he sorts).  He's a great lawn mower and vacuumer.  He is very creative and loves reading, writing, and playing video games.  Derek loves to play Skylanders with him on the Wii so he was very excited to give him HotDog and Zap for his birthday.

He has asked for a 3DS for several years now so we finally got him one for his birthday.  He was so thrilled!

He got some fun cards from Grandparents as well as money that he was excited to spend on... video games!

And that night his two best friends Clark and Jason came over for pizza, video games, and some Dungeons and Dragons.

He wanted a Portal Birthday Cake and picked out the decorations himself: Cocoa Pebbles and Maraschino Cherries.  It was a great day!
