We are going to be talking about things on string, but not the kind you're probably thinking of. Darcy loves the movie Pinocchio! She discovered it in April while we were at Grandma's house and it is her absolute favorite thing to watch. We got her a copy for her birthday (she saw it in the store and wouldn't put it down) and I can't even count how many times she has watched it now. For days (weeks?) she would ask and ask and ask to watch "Yo Yo." And while I don't let her watch it nearly as much as she would like, I will say it gave us lot's of quiet time on our trip North and I will forever love this movie. Earlier this week I found out that there was a puppet show going on at the Alice Plaza so I took Derek and Darcy to watch. She of course loved it and I loved watching her. She was completely engaged the whole time and I am sure the most excited kid there. Once again I wish I could have gotten better pictures (I need a phone with a better camera for sure!), but it made some sweet memories anyway!
