So in Alice they say head South in the Summer and North in the winter, and "they" are right! We drove to Adelaide last October (which was actually during the kids' Spring break here, but close enough), and decided to drive to Darwin for Winter Break and I think we timed it just right. Alice mornings and evening have gotten quite cool, but Darwin was perfectly warm.

We didn't stop, but we did make sure to get a picture of my head as we drove by, just to prove we had in fact been there.
