All in a day

I feel so blessed to have a wonderful and supportive husband who is such a great help around the house and with the kids.  Especially with the demands of my church calling I am grateful that he is willing  to "cover down" at home so I can attend meetings and do visits.  He is awesome about getting the kids out and making sure they have lot's of active outside time.  I don't remember what I had going on a few weeks ago, but it was something that took all of the morning so he took the kids on an outing to the Bingham Copper Mine, to lunch, and then hiking in Big Cottonwood Canyon.  Whew, just listing it all out makes me a little tired, but not him!   Here are pictures of their fun day!

    So fun! He really is an awesome dad. I've never heard of the Bingham Copper Mine before but now I want to check it out next time we're in Utah. I miss you Heather! I'm grateful for your blog so can see pics and know how you guys are doing. :) I think you are amazing to keep up with your calling the way you do and still make time for friends and even update your blog regularly. I loved your last few posts too and am sorry I forgot to comment on them.

    I think the world unestimates the value of a good "Dad". Believe it or not, the fact that my grandchildren have a wonderful Father is one of my most valued gifts. I want all my grandchildren to feel loved, secure, and absolutely valued. Dads are such a important part of giving me that gift. Thank You J
