Valentines 2013

D working on Valentines for his preschool class.  We used our ball painting method (http://strongheather.blogspot.com/2011/03/get-ball-rolling.html) to paint white cardstock and then cut the paper into heart shapes.  Then he wrote his name on each of them and we added some candy.

My sweet hubby got me a bouquet of chocolate covered strawberry roses and the kids and I yummy chocolate covered berry cups to go with our Valentine breakfast.
And here is our Valentine breakfast.  I tried to make heart shaped egg in the hole, but the egg ran all over so it became more like french toast than anything else.  I topped the heart shaped  cut outs with cheese and toasted them and then made eggs topped with red ketchup.  We had a chocolate spinach smoothie and chocolate covered berries.

Valentines from Grandpa and Grandma!
