A not so fun discovery

D had a great time on his preschool fieldtrip to the discovery museum!  April couldn't go so Marcus came with us.  Paula and her kids also carpooled with us.  They played for hours and would have gone on and on except we had to get home before the big kids arrived from school.

After we got home I started fiddling with my wedding ring only to discover my diamond was gone!  I had noticed the prongs were twisted and was past due for a check-up, but I had neglected taking it in... and now I'm paying the price.

  1. "D" you are such a handsome boy! So sorry about the diamon. We have had two incidents where diamonds were lost and found. One was a friend who lost hers sitting by our pool in Cal. We found it on the brick wall around the pool. Who knows how it got there. Then I lost mine and found it later when I stepped on the rug in the bathroom and felt something sharp. I was so sad when I lost it and had just talked myself into accepting the fact that I couldn't take it with me to the Cele Kingdom when I found it. :)

  3. Oh no!!!! How awful Heather! I've very sorry to hear this. My ring is a little loose and has slipped off a couple times and I was panicked until I found where it fell off in the house. I hope you lost it in your home and will find it.

  5. My ring was still on my finger, the diamond was no longer on my ring. It was there when we left for the museum and I noticed as soon as we got home that it was gone. So I'm sure it is ay the museum somewhere... Maybe some lucky kid will find it amidst the giant blocks, in the water table or while building a cool pipe track.

  6. Could it be in your car somewhere? Might be worth taking a look :). Or, you could also call the museum in case staff found it or some honest person turns it in...
